During Aerolase treatment, the handpiece is passed over the skin’s surface, delivering powerful light energy to the deeper layers of the dermis. This energy is drawn to the water, haemoglobin, and melanin (pigment) in the skin, which turns to thermal energy, gently heating the targeted tissues without affecting any of the surrounding skin. As the lightwaves infiltrate the skin at a rapid pulse rate, this helps to ensure a straightforward treatment that is quick and comfortable. By heating the tissues in the affected area, it will stimulate the fibers for increased collagen and elastin, as well as fragmenting any pigmented cells and unwanted thread veins. This leads to a clearer, brighter complexion with softer wrinkles and lifted skin.
The Aerolase platform also includes an application that effectively targets acne and acne scarring - NeoClear. The Aerolase treatment focuses on reducing the main causes of breakouts (bacteria, excess oil, and inflammation) to lessen the frequency and severity of spots and pimples in our North London clinic. Aerolase Neo is found to be suitable for many people experiencing the signs of ageing, and is effective when used on almost all skin types and tones. Maintaining a fresher appearance requires regular sessions, combined with a suitable skincare regime.
IS AEROLASE NEO SAFE?
This treatment utilises 650-microsecond laser technology. It is approved by the FDA as being a safe, effective and gentle treatment for skin rejuvenation.
IS AEROLASE NEO PAINFUL?
During the treatment you may feel a slight warming of the skin. Most patients report this as being very tolerable. Post-treatment discomfort is unlikely.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR RISKS?
Aerolase Neo is a low risk treatment. In most cases, red skin develops as a side effect which disappears within a few hours.
IS THERE ANY ASSOCIATED DOWNTIME?

Ambra Aesthetics are the place to go to for professional, friendly service. You don’t need to go to Harley Street. Dr M and her team are all experts and really take care of you giving the best treatments and advice. Sam on the front desk is a dream. In lots of places the staff can look scary from doing too much but Ambra you can tell it’s all about discrete subtle tweakments. . Don’t hesitate to go!
